In our Brandon Positive Peacebuilding Hub gathering hosted on January 10, we came together with a wonderful group of community leaders in an open and welcoming space. During the gathering, we shared our personal perspectives on what peace means to each of us, shaped by our experiences, cultures, and communities. Through honest and thoughtful conversations, we discovered both the differences and the strong similarities in our views. These discussions helped us better understand one another and reminded us that peace can be expressed in many forms while still being rooted in shared values like respect, justice, and cooperation. The gathering strengthened our connections and inspired us to continue working together toward building positive peace in our communities.
