On March 5, we had our second Peace Gathering. It was another beautiful evening shared with great people and meaningful conversations.
This time, we talked about how we imagine our community with peace in the next five years, and how we feel life might be during that time. Everyone shared different thoughts and perspectives, and it was interesting to see how each of us understands peace in our own way.
But when we started talking about peace for our children in the next five years, the conversation shifted. It became deeper, more thoughtful, and more hopeful. It reminded us that the future we imagine is closely connected to the kind of world we want to create for them.
It was a great night of reflection, connection, and shared hope.
